Having evolved from the Dutch company “Dammers & van der Heide’s Shipping & Trading Company NV”, Dammers & van der Heide Shipping & Trading (Antilles) Inc. (“Dammers & van der Heide”, for short) was established in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles in 1964 and became active as a shipmanager, ship- and cargobroker, liner and tramp shipagent. Since then, Dammers & van der Heide has evolved, exploring and entering new markets and focusing on key shipping issues/opportunities in the Caribbean.

 
On 27 December 2006, our name was officially changed from Dammers & van der Heide Shipping & Trading (Antilles) Inc. to Dammers Shipagenies Inc.
